The annual Severn EM Trainee Conference will be held on 8th January 2014.

The topic for the day is going to be "Connections and Collaboration: Emergency Medicine in a Social Media Age."

Thanks to financial support from the Deanery we have secured some fantastic speakers and the programme will include lead EM proponents in this field (Prof Simon Carley from Manchester & Andy Neil from Dublin) who will be running workshops to get us all started on our EM Social Media enlightenment path. You will all be encouraged to bring your social media devices to get logged on and get started!

We will be hosting the day at the Hotel du Vin in Bristol so even if you don’t want to be educated you will want to be fed!

Due to the venue and the need to plan for the workshops we do need to be certain about numbers attending so you will need to register to attend. Would you please click on this doodle poll to register if you will attend.  Please complete this by Monday 9th December, 2013.

It should be a great day and I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us.

Best regards,

Lisa Munro-Davies, Head of School

Kash Aujla, TPD

Rebecca Maxwell (Post Fellowship EM Clinical Fellow at UHBFT)
